I have been so excited to share this Backyard Cottage Wedding in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Mark and Emily are friends of mine who I adore. I am so thankful that I got to be part of their day. It’s such a great feeling when anyone, let alone someone you care so much about asks you to document one of the biggest days in their life. Mark and Em threw the most amazing wedding. It was simple, sweet, and it represented exactly who they are. I don’t think I love anything more than a backyard wedding. I love the intimacy that it brings to the couple’s day. Emily wore a beautiful Truvelle gown and had amazing floral crowns designed by Mint Floral Co. She also grew and arranged her own bouquets as well as the flowers for her and Mark’s reception. Em’s Dad’s reaction to seeing her for the first time was a close tie to Mark seeing his bride for the first time. Both of these guy’s reactions had me in tears. Their first dance was held under string lights, their speeches were full of love and laughter, their dance party was wild, and the whole feel of their day was a completely laid back and a ridiculously fun wedding. Oh and did I mention that Mark sang to her after their first dance? Yeah, there’s always that cuteness to top things off. It was such a unique and personal wedding and I am so glad I was there.
Good afternoon,
Beautiful photos and wedding! Would you happen to recall the reception location?
Thank you! Meg
Hi Meg! Thank you and sorry for the late reply. This was the Tamarac Golf and Country Club :)
