Windy Wedding at Fogo Island Inn

When I say that this was a windy wedding at Fogo Island Inn… I mean it. We braved 100km winds on Ashley and Max’s wedding day and we pretty much nailed it. These two are exactly my kind of people! So fun, adventurous, kind and up for anything! We had a blast together on Fogo Island. We explored the island together, endured the crazy weather and had an amazing time getting to know each other. On their wedding day they were surrounded by their family and friends who were just like them… welcoming, warm and a freaking ton of fun. I can’t thank you two enough for asking me to come to Fogo Island to be part of your day. It was so beautiful and my face hurt by the end of the day from smiling alongside you. I think we need a reunion in your neck of the woods. Napa Valley wine adventures? <3

You aced this wedding photo shoot … against the odds of doing it on one of the four corners of the earth in November, with record winds and hypnotic oceans that crashed against the rock beds and meet the sky! While I admit you not only had one of the most coveted venues in the world to shoot from, you also captured one of the most beautiful couples ever!
